I Don’t Miss You

It’s been a good run
We were as good as one
But all good things do end
Or stop at a bend

Do we wait to unravel the cause
And pause
Think well before opening the door
For a premature exit shatters the core

I don’t miss you anymore
Not that your memory has grown cold
Love need not be defined
The presence may not always be required

You hold a special place
Just not the same
People evolve and grow
You reap as you sow

So, as you proceed on your journey new
I wish you well
Whether the love true
Only time can tell
