Happy Birthday India

Freedom from bondage
Knowledge coming of age
Oppression no more
Successful uproar

Rich cultural heritage
Multiple languages
Unity in diversity
India, my country

Be it cuisine or tradition
India is certainly  a special edition
Famous for its ancient practices
Today, “Namaste,” is how the world addresses

Always proud to be an Indian
A country,  the only one in a million
Which boasts of  love and peace
Successfully harbouring variations in one piece

      1. It’s a Man Eat Man world today. Poor animals, no prey for them, eh! One man is another man’s doom. This is a problem being faced in most developing countries, India is one of them. Until man learns to control his impulses, nothing can change. And that, is a tough call.
