Conflicts With Parents

As long as they live
Their best they give
May not be enough
Sometimes, they might be rough

Parenting is a skill
Needs to be learned
The scars cannot heal, without will
Sometimes, relationships have to be earned

Involves time and care
With lots to share
A strong bond is built over time
One that stays even after the bell starts to chime

They may not be perfect
But they sure, deserve respect
Each being has a unique journey
And so, the weather may sometimes be stormy

Do not wait to make peace
As an empty chair brings more grief
Follow forgiveness and acceptance
Let there be no place for repentance
