The Wandering Mind

Oh, wandering mind, stay still
Do not disturb me, at your will
For I am still learning the skill
All your demands, to not, fulfill

The ease with which you hurt me
Taking away my cherished peace
Sometimes, it’s best to simply be
And allow all negativity to cease

Reactions, lead to further confusion
Leading to an improper decision
Simply observe and let go
Never, allow the weeds to grow

And one day, the wandering shall end
When the journey reaches, a particular bend
From there, you shall evolve
And all the unnecessary, shall dissolve
