Where Have You Gone

Millions of stars in the night sky
Twinkling away from a place so high
One such star, shines only for me
The one, that only, my eyes, can see

I wish I could reach my star
And allow it to heal my scar
For years I have held on to the grief
Our association, after all, had not been brief

I long to bring back our days
Where there was happiness, in all ways
Before your time, You had to leave
We shall meet again, is what I believe
