Writing 201- Poetry- Ode- The Chest Of Drawers

In the dark chest of drawers,
Lie buried, deep, all treasures,
Accumulated since ages, long ago,
None of it, unimportant enough, to throw,

Having been, at one time, the besotted choice,
For which there had been a lot of noise,
Alas! Now it is simply stored, with poise,
Which, as time goes by, simply destroys

The rusted handles scream out,” me, please, me!”
But the pristine ones are all, that I see,
The chaos, within the unopened drawers,
Can be understood, by those possessing no treasures,

And yet! I store them in the dark chest of  drawers, safe, with care
Even though, I need to utilize them, is it fair?
